1、 Treatment method
Fresh Osmanthus fragrans should be treated immediately after being collected. They should not be kept for too long, otherwise the fragrance will be lost and the color will change. When handling, first put it in the vegetable basket, screen out the magazine and pick up the larger impurities. After that, soak it in light salt water for more than 10 minutes and rinse it with a shower. In this way, Osmanthus fragrans will not be hurt, and it can be washed very clean. After washing, control the water and dry it with a hair dryer. Be careful not to dry in the sun or air.
2、 Storage method
1. Freezing: put the treated osmanthus into a clean plastic bag, tie the mouth tightly and put it into the freezer. When to use and when to take out, they are relatively fresh. However, the preserved in this way will taste better after ripening.
2. Make dried Osmanthus fragrans: dry the treated Osmanthus fragrans in a microwave oven or oven, or absorb its water with quicklime, and then put them into plastic bags for storage. It is recommended to dry with quicklime so that the flavor and color will not change.
3. Make sweet scented osmanthus sauce: it can also be made into sweet scented osmanthus sauce, which is more convenient to use and can be preserved for a long time. When making, first put a layer of Osmanthus at the bottom of the container, and then add a layer of honey. This step is repeated, and then cover it up and close it.
