1、 The difference between the two

Cucumber and cucumber are the same plant. The latter is only tender and the color has not completely turned green, so they are distinguished. Usually, the former is longer and thinner, and the color is dark green, while the latter is thicker and shorter, and the color is cyan. In addition, their taste is slightly different, but there is little difference. It should be noted that there are fewer tumor spines in cucumber cultivated in the South and more in the north.

2、 How to raise cucumbers

1. Light: cucumber is a sunshine neutral plant. There is no problem with long light and short light. Its flower buds can be easily formed and will not affect flowering and fruiting.

2. Temperature: cucumber is a warm plant, but it is not resistant to cold. The temperature should be maintained between 25-32 ℃ during the day and 15-18 ℃ at night. The temperature difference between day and night should not exceed 15 ℃. If the temperature is too high, it will affect its photosynthesis, and if it is too low, it will freeze to death.

3. Watering: cucumber needs more water. The soil humidity should be kept between 60% - 90%. It can be less in the seedling stage, and sufficient water should be ensured in the fruiting stage. In addition, it also has requirements for air humidity. Too low is not conducive to growth, and too high is prone to disease.

4. Fertilization: cucumber likes fertilizer, but it is not resistant to fertilizer. When planting, we should apply enough base fertilizer, choose more rotten organic fertilizer and match with an appropriate amount of calcium superphosphate, so as to provide sufficient nutrients.
