3. Flowers and fruits: the flowers of seabuckthorn are dioecious, the male flowers have no petiole, the sepals are relatively large, and there are 4 stamens. The petiole of the female flower is relatively short, the calyx tube is oval, the ovary has 1 chamber, there are upright ovules inside, and the style is filiform. Its fruit is round and spherical, with a diameter of 4-6 mm. Its color is orange yellow or orange red, and its fruit stalk is relatively short. Its flowering period is from April to may, and then it will bear fruit. The fruit is spherical, orange yellow or orange red, and the fruit matures from September to October.
