1、 Selection skills
1. Appearance: when selecting pitaya, try to choose one with a large stomach, which is usually full. There should be no black spots or yellowing on the skin. If this happens, it means that the Pitaya is not very fresh.
2. Color: the skin color of Pitaya is very bright. The brighter the color, the better. If the small leaves on it are green, don't choose those that have turned yellow or dried up.
3. Weight: if the appearance and color are good, you should choose the large one. Generally, the small one may have a worse taste. It's important to weigh which one is the size of the dragon. If it has an advantage in weight, it means that it has a high moisture content and may be fresher.
2、 Preservation method
After buying pitaya, if you can't finish it, you can keep it fresh in the shade at home. Pay attention not to bask in the sun or let the temperature be too high during storage. If you cut it, you can wrap it with plastic wrap and then put it in the refrigerator. But also eat it as soon as possible. Don't put it for too long.
