There are not many restrictions on the time selection. It can be carried out in any of the three seasons of spring, summer and autumn. Spring sprouts strongly, which can promote growth. Higher humidity in the air in summer and autumn can promote root sprouting. Winter is too cold to be suitable

2、 Cut stem segments

Select the fire breathing dragon plant with good growth state, and cut off a section of stem branches from above. It is required to be plump and free from the influence of diseases and pests. A healthy stem section is conducive to survival. The length does not need to be too long, about 10cm. Cut it off and can't be inserted immediately, because there will be white juice flowing out at the bottom, which can be washed out in water or dried in a cool place to wait for the wound to heal

3、 Preparation matrix

The selected matrix is mainly breathable. Vermiculite and perlite can be used. The laying thickness is about 5-10cm. Before use, disinfect the container and matrix and pour a certain amount of water to maintain water content

4、 Cutting

Insert the treated stem segment into the matrix to ensure that it does not fall. Pay attention to spraying water on it, which can promote rooting as soon as possible
