Branch selection
We usually call the cuttings as cuttings. Usually, combined with coring, we cut off the thicker top tip without diseases and pests as cuttings and cut them directly p>
Matrix selection
Usually, the soil for cutting is nutrient soil, river sand or peat soil. It is difficult to get ideal soil for family cuttings due to limited conditions. It is also OK to use a little thicker sand, but rinse it with clean water before use to avoid bacteria. It is better not to use sea sand and river sand in saline alkali areas. They are not suitable for the growth of Calendula p>
In fact, the cutting method is very simple. As long as the branches and soil are ready, the branches can be directly inserted into the soil p>
Post cutting management
After cutting, the temperature is controlled at 18 ~ 25 ℃, below 18 ℃, the branches are difficult to sprout and grow slowly; When the temperature is higher than 25 ℃, the scissor is easy to rot, and the higher the temperature, the greater the degree of rot p>
After cutting, ensure sufficient humidity and spray water 1 ~ 3 times a day. During the curing process, cover 50% ~ 80% of the sunlight, and move to the shading place after the root system grows p>
Potting or transplanting
When the seedlings are put into the basin, first put 2 ~ 2 cm thick coarse-grained matrix or ceramsite at the bottom of the basin as the filter layer, sprinkle a layer of fully decomposed organic fertilizer as the base fertilizer, with a thickness of about 1 ~ 2 cm, then cover a layer of matrix, with a thickness of about 1 ~ 2 cm, and then put them into the plant to separate the fertilizer from the root system and avoid root burning p>
After 1 ~ 2 weeks in the pot, when the seedlings grow to 6 ~ 10 cm and have more than 6 leaves, remove the top tip. Keep 3 ~ 4 leaves and promote branching p>
