Potted carambola method
Basin selection
The size of the container shall be coordinated with the size proportion of Carambola planted. Plastic basin or purple sand basin is a good choice p>
Preparation of nutrient soil
The nutrient soil requires the matrix with good air permeability and water permeability, moisturizing and fertilizer retention, and pH value of about 6.0-6.5. Fertile pond mud can be used. After drying, it can be evenly mixed with river sand, dry chicken manure and calcium superphosphate in the proportion of 5:3:1.9:0.1 p>
Upper basin
The planting time of carambola in pot is suitable to be selected before budding from March to April. Check whether the bottom hole of the flowerpot is unblocked before putting it into the pot, and then cover the convex surface of the broken pot upward on the hole to achieve the purpose of ventilation, water permeability and no soil leakage. Then lay about 3cm thick coarse soil particles, and then put them into the nutrient soil. During planting, the long coarse roots can be cut short appropriately, so that the root system can stretch naturally, and then fill in the nutrient soil to make the soil close contact with the root system. Remember to compact them by hand. The coverage depth of nutrient soil should cover about 2-3cm above the root neck, and about 4-5cm along the soil surface should be reserved for watering. After being put into the basin, sufficient root fixing water shall be poured in time, and then a layer of straw shall be covered on the basin surface and placed under the shade shed. After that, it shall be watered reasonably, and it can be cured gradually after about 10-13 days< span>
