Breeding mode
Here is mainly about its tissue culture method. Because under normal circumstances, its seeds are difficult to obtain, and manual pollination can not maintain the advantages of the mother. Therefore, tissue culture is an effective means p>
Specific steps
First step
Select a Dendrobium candidum with normal growth and development, and take its tender stem segment with five to six nodes. After taking it, rinse it under tap water for about an hour, remove all the leaves on it, and then cut it into two sections. After cutting, soak it in 70% alcohol for about half a minute, and then sterilize it in raw mercury for six minutes. Next, rinse several times with sterile water, peel off the leaf sheath covering the stem segment, and then disinfect with raw mercury for three minutes. Then rinse with water and dry it with paper. It's best to choose a special absorbent paper. The water mentioned above should also be sterile. Finally, cut off the segmented stem segment and stem tip, about one centimeter p>
Step two
Put the above stem segments and shoot tips on the culture medium and wait for their lateral buds to germinate (it can be observed in about 18 days). When the terminal bud and lateral bud grow to about one centimeter long, the bud is cut off and transferred to another medium. After about three weeks, the bud will grow to about two centimeters, and there will be two or three leaves p>
Step 3
This step is to select the best and most robust buds for bud proliferation. Then, if the length of the bud reaches about three centimeters, it can be induced. After a period of culture (about 20 days), about two to three roots can grow, and a complete plant can be formed. Then let it continue to grow. When it grows to two or three meters, the root system is almost strong. Take it out of the culture medium and put it in the greenhouse, which is regarded as a success p>
