1、 Planting method

1. Planting time: Dendrobium candidum is usually planted in spring and autumn, and most of them are in spring. Taking Zhejiang as an example, the best time for planting is from April to June every year. At this time, the temperature is between 15-25 ℃, the air humidity is relatively high, and the survival rate after planting is high. If it is planted in autumn, it is generally necessary to wait until mid September to late October, and do a good job in cold and frost resistance.

2. Substrate preparation: if you want to plant Dendrobium candidum, you must prepare the substrate. Good water retention is essential, as well as ventilation. It is generally prepared with water moss, gravel, peanut shell, moss, coconut peel, pine bark, sawdust, etc. bark and sawdust are commonly used, which can be mixed with gravel and organic fertilizer. It should be noted that the bark must be crushed into particles with a length of no more than 3 cm.

3. Environmental requirements: if you plant in a greenhouse, you must ensure good ventilation before planting. At the same time, you should also cover the sun and rain, and prevent the invasion of pests. The temperature should be controlled between 15-30 ℃, and the hotter places should be covered with 80% shading net. At the same time, pay attention to cooling. If it is colder, it is necessary to reduce the sun shading and use double-layer plastic film for heat preservation.

4. Planting: the planting of Dendrobium candidum can be divided into three types: tree planting, stone planting and humus soil planting. Tree species with thick bark and high water content shall be selected for tree planting, and common ones are Pueraria, camphor and pear. Stone planting requires rough stones with humus and moss on the surface. For reproduction soil cultivation, the box shall be prepared, and the substrate shall be poured in before planting.

1. Light and temperature: Dendrobium candidum is suitable to grow in an environment of 15-30 ℃. If the temperature is high, it must be ventilated and cooled in time, and if the temperature is low, it must be kept warm. It doesn't like light, so we should pay attention to shade and avoid being exposed to strong light.

2. Moisture and humidity: Dendrobium candidum likes to be wet. The water content should be controlled to ensure that the water content of the substrate is not more than 70% and not less than 60%. The air humidity should be maintained at about 90%, which can be appropriately reduced after rooting, but it should also be maintained at more than 70%.

3. Summer and winter: do not let the substrate be too wet in high temperature in summer and low temperature in winter. It is usually between 30%-50%. In addition, thermal insulation measures should be taken in winter. Anti freezing exercise can be carried out in advance, and water should be sprayed every two weeks.
