The flowering period is in June and the fruiting period is generally from September to October. Its symbolic meaning is perseverance and progress. It not only has the functions of greening and beautifying the environment, but also has the functions of increasing oxygen, cooling, reducing dust and reducing noise. It is one of the most used materials in vine greening plants.
2、 Morphological characteristics
It is a large deciduous woody perennial vine with a shape similar to that of wild grapevine. Flowering in summer, the flower shape is small and the clustering is not obvious, mostly hermaphroditic flowers. There are tendrils on the branches, and there are viscous suction cups at the top and tip. When encountering objects, they will be adsorbed on them, whether it is rocks, walls or trees. Because of its strong adsorption function, it is often used for greening and has high ornamental value.

Parthenocissus has strong adaptability. It prefers dark and humid environment, but it is not afraid of strong light. At the same time, it is resistant to cold, drought and barren. In areas south of the warm temperate zone, its leaves can also remain semi evergreen or evergreen in winter. However, they are afraid of ponding, which will hinder their normal growth. The requirements for soil are not strict. It can grow healthily in a humid environment or sunny place, but it grows better in a humid and fertile soil. It has strong resistance to harmful gases such as sulfur dioxide and can also adsorb dust in the air.
