1. Appearance features: Pine parasitic trees are blunt fruit parasites of pines and cypresses, a plant of the mulberry parasitic family. The plant height is 0.5-1m. The leaves of twigs are densely covered with brown stellate hairs, and the branchlets are dark brown. Leaves alternate or clustered on short branches. The petiole length is about 1-2.5mm. The leaf shape is nearly spoon shaped or linear, 2-3cm long and 3-7mm wide. Umbel, 1-2 axillary, with 2-3 flowers; The pedicel is 1-2mm long and the flower color is bright red. The flowering period is from July to August, and the fruiting period is from April to May of the next year.

Growth environment: it mostly grows in mountain coniferous forest or coniferous broad-leaved mixed forest at an altitude of about 900-2800m, and parasitic on pine, Keteleeria, fir, spruce or cedar. Its stems and branches with leaves can be used as medicine and have high medicinal value. When taking orally, take about 9-15g and fry the soup with water. When using externally, mash or grind an appropriate amount and smear the affected part.
