And at this time, although the weather in Xi'an turns cold, it is still suitable for going out to play. Xi'an not only has a thousand year old city, but also has a thousand year old ginkgo tree. In the ancient Guanyin Temple of Zhongnan Mountain in Xi'an, it is said that the ginkgo tree, which has a history of more than 1400 years, was planted by Emperor Taizong Li Shimin in the Tang Dynasty. It is also listed in the national protection list of ancient and famous trees. Mid November is the best viewing time for it. The tree is about 30 meters high. When the leaves fall and cover the ground, it creates an antique scenery together with the Millennium ancient temple. It also makes people feel a strong Zen meaning, which can purify the mind and relax.

1. Park around the city: the park is large, with many trees and convenient transportation. It is the most grounded ginkgo viewing place. Built according to the moat, you can enjoy ginkgo while listening to Qin opera and feel the ancient culture of Xi'an.

2. Ancient Guanyin Temple: there is a 1400 year old ginkgo tree in the ancient Guanyin temple. It is said that it was planted by Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty and has been listed as an ancient and famous tree by the state for protection.

3. Chongyang Palace: in the northwest corner of Chongyang palace, there is a ginkgo tree for more than 800 years. The ancient ginkgo tree is about 10 feet high. A cypress grows in the hollow of the tree body. Later, the cypress withered and died, and the ancient ginkgo tree is still blooming and bearing fruit.

4. Hanyang Mausoleum Museum: more than 100 mu and more than 10000 ginkgo trees planted in Hanyang mausoleum have formed a certain scale after years of growth.

5. Louguantai: it is said that it was planted by "Lao Tzu" Li Er during the lecture in Louguan. It has a history of 2600 years and is listed in the national protection list of ancient and famous trees.

6. Lantian: it is said that Wang Wei personally planted the tree when he lived in seclusion in Lantian County. The tree is 20 meters high and 18 meters wide. The tree is about 1200 years old. So far, it has become a local scene with lush branches and leaves.
