They need to remove the stamens and soak them in boiling water before eating. Dry ones are treated and the price is more expensive.

2、 Plant introduction

1. Morphological characteristics: day lily is a perennial herb of Hemerocallis in Liliaceae. Its height is between 30-65 cm. Its root is fleshy and one end expands into a spindle shape. Its leaves are parasitic, usually banded, with a length of 40-60 cm. The flower stem will be pulled out from the leaf axil, and there are branches at the top. There are several orange funnel-shaped flowers on it, and each flower has 6 petals.

2. Growth habits: cauliflower itself is drought resistant and barren, and has lax requirements for soil. It can grow even on hillsides. It has a wide range of adaptability to light, and can grow in both strong light and shade. Its aboveground part is not cold resistant, but its underground part can survive at a low temperature of - 10 ℃. In addition, plants do not like too wet soil and need an environment of 20-25 ℃ for flowering.

3. Maintenance method: generally, the soil with good drainage should be used to raise cauliflower, so as to avoid ponding and flooding the root. Because it has good drought resistance, it doesn't need to be watered too much. It can be watered once a week. In high temperature season, it can be cooled by spraying water appropriately. Apply fertilizer four times a year and base fertilizer in winter, mainly organic fertilizer. When applying seedling fertilizer in spring, calcium superphosphate and potassium sulfate are mostly used. Urea and calcium superphosphate should be supplemented during mossing and pregnancy.

4. Propagation skills: there are many propagation methods of cauliflower, including ramet propagation, cutting propagation and sowing propagation. The mother plant shall be excavated and divided into several clusters for planting respectively. For cutting, cut 15 cm scape with fresh green bracts, insert it into the soil and water it appropriately.
