1、 Appearance

1. Leaves: the leaves are obovate lanceolate, oblanceolate or oblong lanceolate, most of which are between 4-20cm long and about 1-5cm wide. The leaf apex is blunt or acute, and the edge has different shapes such as wavy teeth, pinnate deep crack, inverted pinnate deep crack or big head pinnate deep crack. The spider's main veins are white or silky, and the appearance is often purple.

2. Flower: the flower is a head like inflorescence with a diameter of about 30-40 mm. The Corolla is bell shaped, about 12-14 mm long, and the color is light green. Scape 1 or several, equal to or slightly longer than leaves, 10-25 cm high. The flowers are bright yellow and surrounded by green stems. The flowering period is from April to September, and the flowering time can last for 1-2 months. After the flowers of the plant mature, they grow seeds with umbrella shaped small flocs and white hairs, which are very beautiful in appearance. When the wind blows, it will separate from the plant, and then float with the wind. After landing, it can grow and reproduce.

3. Fruit: achenes will be produced from May to October, in the shape of inverted egg and lanceolate, and the color is dark brown. It is about 4-5mm long and 1-1.5mm wide. After the root of dandelion is broken, milky juice will flow out, which tastes bitter, but it has the effects of clearing heat and fire, protecting liver and diuresis.
