Emperor Yao married them to shun at the same time and made his sister the queen and his sister the imperial concubine. However, the two sisters had a very good relationship. After marrying Shun, the three were also very affectionate. Later, Shun suddenly died during a southern tour. E Huang and nu Ying both died in love in the Xiangjiang River. The two sisters' affectionate love moved the world. God took pity on them and turned the souls of e Huang and nu Ying into daffodils by the Xiangjiang River. Since then, they have become daffodils and flower gods in the twelfth lunar month.
