1、 Breeding method
1. Soil: raising medal chrysanthemum generally needs loose and fertile sandy soil. If you want to prepare it yourself, you can mix it with culture soil, rotten leaf soil and coarse sand, and there should not be too much coarse sand p>
2. Temperature: medal chrysanthemum likes warm climate. It grows faster when the temperature is between 15-20 ℃. It can also adapt to high temperatures above 30 ℃ and can't be lower than 5 ℃ in winter p>
3. Light: the growth of medal chrysanthemum is inseparable from sufficient light. Usually put it in the sunny place. If the light is insufficient, it will lead to less flowering and small flowers p>
4. Watering: medal chrysanthemum likes humidity but is not resistant to waterlogging. It should be watered frequently during the growth period to keep the soil moist. However, if there is ponding in the rainy season, it needs to be drained as soon as possible to avoid plant death p>
2、 Reproductive skills
1. Sowing: sowing is a common breeding method of medal chrysanthemum. It is usually carried out in spring or autumn. The seeds are scattered on the soil surface, covered with a layer of fine soil and sprayed with water p>
2. Divide the chrysanthemum into 3-4 plants with buds in the pot, and then divide them into several plants p>
3. Cutting: cutting is mostly carried out in spring and autumn, and can be carried out indoors all year round. Cut the buds with stem nodes, keep the top two leaves, insert them into the sand bed, and take root after 20 days p>
3、 Pest control
The common diseases of medal chrysanthemum include root rot and leaf spot. Root rot can be controlled with root rot solution, and leaf spot needs to be treated with carbendazim. The main pests are aphids and red spiders. Aphids can be sprayed with rotein, and red spiders need to be eliminated with dicofol p>
