1、 Cutting time
Succulent cutting is generally carried out in spring or autumn. These two seasons are its growth period, and cutting has a high survival rate. When the temperature is high in summer, the plant enters a dormant state. Cutting cuttings is easy to affect the recovery of the original plant, and cuttings are also easy to rot. Low temperature in winter will also make the plant dormant, and it is difficult to take root after cutting p>
2、 Cuttings treatment
The cuttings selected are also different according to the different parts of succulent cuttings. The more common is leaf cutting. Cut a full leaf and put it in a ventilated place to dry. After the wound is dry, you can cut it. For some succulent branches that can be inserted, the method is the same. Cut about 10cm branches and wait until the wound is dried p>
3、 Basin soil preparation
Prepare the basin soil before cutting. The soil is generally humus soil with cinder. The ratio of the two is about 6:4, which can ensure its good drainage. In order to prevent the growth of cuttings from being eroded by bacteria, it is necessary to disinfect the basin soil, lay it flat in the sun, and eliminate bacteria and insect eggs through high temperature p>
4、 Cutting maintenance
Insert the dried cuttings into the substrate. If they are leaves, they can be inserted obliquely or tiled. After the cuttings take root, they can be planted in the soil. It is not suitable to water just after cutting. It should not be watered until the plant takes root and is planted. It should not be watered too much. It is usually watered after the soil is dry, so as to avoid the new root rot caused by too humid environment p>
