1. Seeding reproduction

Wild Peony can be propagated by seed. Generally, when spring comes, we choose to sow from March to April, because the temperature at this time is the most appropriate. We mix its seeds with plants or fine soil, and then sow them evenly on the seedbed, and then cover it with some fine soil, about 2cm, and then cover it with grass and water. If the temperature is above 25 ℃, the seedlings will begin to appear in about 20 days. After emergence, the grass on it should be removed. When the seedlings grow about 15 cm, start opening holes according to the plant distance of each row, and plant three trees in each hole

2. Cutting propagation

Selection of cuttings: this way of reproduction is actually asexual reproduction. We can cut some strong, full, disease-free and insect-free branches from the crown or the upper part of its mother tree. Just leave half of the top leaves, cut off all the other leaves, and trim the cut at the end into a horseshoe shape

Cutting matrix: at this time, it is generally required to select some relatively loose, breathable and organic matrix, so as to improve its survival rate. Generally, we can choose some garden soil, nutrition or other loose matrix

Cutting: it usually starts in spring and autumn. Because it is easy to take root, you can't use rooting medicine. The depth of cutting is about two to three centimeters. Insert the cuttings into the matrix in the nutrition bag, and gently firm it, and pour the water through

Post cutting management: after cutting, a layer of shading net needs to be covered. In this way, the substrate can be kept moist. We should also remove some weeds in time, pay attention to the harm of some diseases and insect pests and carry out timely prevention and control. In addition, add some fertilizer appropriately. Pay attention to drainage in spring and drought prevention in autumn
