1、 Seed root

Tangled peony mainly uses its underground rhizome for reproduction. Its rhizome is white and mainly concentrated about 30cm under the soil. It has strong vitality. It can extend and grow six meters around in two to three years. When breeding, it is necessary to dig out this underground rhizome. Generally, roots are dug in spring or autumn, and a rhizome of about 10 cm in length can be cut for breeding. The roots dug in spring can be planted, and those dug in autumn should not be trimmed. The whole root should be buried in sand for preservation, and the preservation temperature should be kept below zero

2、 Planting

Tangled peonies like fertilizer, so before planting, a layer of rotten fertilizer should be paved as the base fertilizer, and then the garden soil and fertilizer should be mixed evenly, and the excess large pieces of soil should be crushed before water diversion and irrigation. After the soil layer is completely penetrated by water, put the selected tangled peony rhizome horizontally into the soil, and then cover the seed root with soft rotten soil two centimeters thick. If the temperature condition of the soil layer is more appropriate, it can take about ten days to take root, sprout and grow. The two-year-old mature mother plant can dig nearly 100 meters of rhizomes every year without adverse effects on the original mother plant. After digging roots, the mother plant can still sprout and bloom normally

3、 Maintenance management

The requirements of tangled tree peony on the environment are not very high, and its survival ability is particularly strong. However, if it can be cultivated according to its preferences, it will make tangled tree peony have better development and improve the flowering quality. The flower prefers long-term sunshine and sufficient fertilizer and water conditions. Therefore, in the process of cultivation, pay attention to ensure sufficient sunshine, timely fertilization and watering. The newly grown shoots should be pulled to the flower rack in time to prevent the entanglement and drooping of branches and tendrils from affecting the beauty, and supplement the sparse places of flowers on the flower rack to improve its ornamental value. The lateral branches of tangled peony will grow flower buds, so when pruning, pay attention not to cut off too many lateral branches, and only prune slightly in the place where the growth is too dense.
