1、 Different kinds
The orchid herb, known as Commelina communis, belongs to the genus Commelina of Commelinaceae. Orchids are orchids. Therefore, from the perspective of plant taxonomy, they are not the same kind of plants at all.
2、 Different shapes
The flowers of orchid are blue. 3-4 flowers gather on one branch and are distributed in an umbrella shape. Each flower has 2 petals. Its leaves are lanceolate and its bracts are heart-shaped after unfolding. Although there are many colors of orchids, there is no blue. There are 6 petals, including a unique lip, and the stamens and pistils fuse into the pistil column. Its leaves are long and banded.
3、 Different distribution
Orchid grass mainly grows in tropical areas and is distributed in provinces and cities south of the Yangtze River in China, especially in Southwest China. Orchids are widely distributed in China and can be seen in all provinces and cities. The most species are in Yunnan, Sichuan and Taiwan provinces.
4、 Different curing methods
Orchid grass prefers a warm and humid environment. It should be watered enough to keep the substrate moist. Fertilize 1-2 times a month, and liquid fertilizer dominated by nitrogen should be used as fertilizer. Orchids have little demand for water. They should keep eight dry and two wet at ordinary times, especially less watering during flowering. Fertilization should be strictly controlled. The fertilizer should be light and not too diligent at the same time.
