1、 Flowering time
Clivia usually blooms in spring and summer, but as long as it is properly maintained, it can bloom all year round. It should be noted that new plants must grow to more than twelve leaves before they can bloom. Basically, it is only opened once a year, some can open it twice, and it is very rare to open it three times.
2、 Flower language introduction
The flower language of Clivia is noble and has the style of a gentleman. The reason why it has noble meaning is that the Latin scientific name of this plant has the meaning of wealth and nobility. In addition, it has a gentleman in its name, and it is also called orchid. Orchid is also called Gentleman in flower, so it naturally has the style of gentleman.
3、 How to promote flower growth
1. Temperature control: the flowering of Clivia has a lot to do with temperature. Plants are not easy to blossom in high temperature season, but in semi dormant state, and there will be arrow clamping phenomenon. Therefore, the temperature should be controlled below 25 ℃, preferably not higher than 20 ℃. In addition, ensure that the temperature difference between day and night is above 10 ℃. It can be placed on Nanyang platform during the day and Beiyang platform at night.
2. Proper fertilization: the growth of Clivia still needs appropriate fertilizer. If the soil fertility is insufficient, the plant does not have enough nutrients to bloom. The simplest flower promoting fertilizer is beer. Generally, it should be opened and placed for a period of time, then diluted with clean water and watered into the soil. You can also choose to apply phosphate fertilizer, and the effect is the same. In addition, put it in the sunny place, so that it can better carry out photosynthesis, which is also conducive to the synthesis of nutrients.
