Operation steps:

6. Ensure that the soil is moist and watered normally. With this method, it will take about 15-20 days to take root. Because at this time, the branches have not separated from the mother, the nutrition is still very sufficient, and the roots will take root very quickly. After rooting, cut the branches directly and put them in a basin

Jasmine one branch multi pressure method

Sometimes we choose a long branch when pressing. At this time, we can use one branch and multiple pressing method. Today, take jasmine as an example

Operation steps:

1. Select a strong long Jasmine branch and peel it 180 degrees, that is, each node of the branch only peels 180 degrees, leaving half of the skin

2. Because the selected Jasmine branches are relatively long, nodes 1, 3, 5 and 7 can be peeled on the branches as the rooting point, while nodes 2, 4, 6 and 8 can be reserved as the growth point of new branches. If the branch is long enough, several more nodes can be left between the girdling nodes, which is conducive to the rapid growth of new branches

3. Prepare several plastic bottles and cut off the upper part, leaving only the bottom part. Poke a small hole in the bottom of the plastic bottle, then put it on the jasmine branch, and then add sand, peat soil and other soil into the plastic bottle. Be sure to bury the wound of jasmine girdling by the soil. Then set up a shelf and tie the plastic bottle and shelf together with adhesive tape to prevent the branches from tilting

4. In about two months, the pressed Jasmine can grow white flower roots

Triangle plum high air pressure strip

High altitude layering is suitable for some flowers whose branches are not easy to bend, such as osmanthus, camellia, Magnolia, etc. Today, Huahua will take sanjiaomei as an example to talk about how to strip at high altitude

Operation steps:

1. Select the healthy branches of the current year from the triangular plum, and then peel the branches of the triangular plum that need to be pressed, with a width of about 0.5-1cm. Pay attention to scraping the cambium of the branches (that is, the green skin)

2. Dip a little rooting powder with a cotton swab and apply it to the wound peeled out

3. Prepare a piece of toilet paper or tissue, fold it in half and wrap it around the wound of triangle plum

4. After wrapping the wound with toilet paper, spray water into the paper towel with a small watering can. After thoroughly infiltrating the paper towel, wrap a layer of fresh-keeping film or plastic bag to moisturize it. After that, tie the upper end of the plastic bag firmly with thin wire, and the lower end should not be too tight, so as to make the root system drill out directly from the lower end

5. Finally, wrap a layer of newspaper outside the fresh-keeping film to achieve the purpose of shading. Branches in the dark environment can stimulate cell division and growth, and after girdling, all the nutrients of the branches are concentrated in the wound, which can make the branches take root faster

6. At an interval of 3-5 days, you have to spray water on the paper towel once, so that the paper towel does not lack water, otherwise it will affect the rooting of triangular plum. It only takes about 20-30 days for the branches of triangular plum to take root

7. Cut off the rooted branches directly and put them in a basin with paper towels. After the operation of high-altitude layering, you can get a new potted plum

Rose layering method

Operation steps:

1. If you want to propagate the rose by layering, you'd better choose the branches born in that year for girdling. The girdling wound is about 1cm

2. Find a plastic bottle, cut off the bottle mouth, then cut two holes on both sides of the bottle wall, so that the branches can pass through the bottle, and finally poke several small holes at the bottom of the bottle to ensure that there are drainage holes

3. Fill the plastic bottle with the soil needed for cutting, and then plug the branches into the slit cut in the bottle. The peeled part on the rose branches must be included in the bottle. Cover it with soil and pour it for water once. In about 15 days, you can see that the pressed Rose takes root

4. After rooting, cut the branches short and put them directly into the basin. Just cut the plastic bottle directly before putting it into the basin
