Qianliu: the bark of qianliu is thicker than that of hongqianceng, and has longitudinal crack lines. Its color is different from the grayish brown of hongqianceng, but it belongs to brown. Its twigs are cylindrical. Although it also has woolen material, it belongs to fluff and will not disappear. The most direct difference between them is that its branches are sagging, and the branches of hongqianceng are upright

2、 Difference of leaves

Red Melaleuca: its leaf length is about 5 cm to 9 cm, and its width is about 3 mm to 6 mm. When it grows at the initial stage, it will be covered by long silk hair and will disappear slowly

Qianliu: its leaves are about 6 cm to 7.5 cm long, about 7 mm wide, and have no long silk hairs

3、 Difference between flower and fruit

Red Melaleuca: its petals are green, with a length of about 6mm and a width of 4.5mm. The flowering period is from June to August, and its fruit is nearly hemispherical

Qianliu: the color of the flower is much lighter than that of hongqianceng. It belongs to light green, and the petals are close to round, about 3mm directly. The flowering period can be from spring to autumn, and its fruit is bowl shaped or hemispherical
