1、 Suitable temperature

Gardenia is suitable to grow at a temperature of 16 degrees to 18 degrees. If the temperature is appropriate, it will grow vigorously and bloom more beautiful. This temperature can be basically met in spring and autumn, but attention should be paid to summer and winter. Put it in a well ventilated place in summer and spray more water to cool down at ordinary times. In winter, we should move indoors. The minimum temperature should not be lower than 5 degrees, but it should not be too high, not higher than 12 degrees, otherwise it will be bad for the winter

2、 Suitable light

It is a light loving plant, but it is afraid of direct light. When placed in a place where there is no direct light, pay attention to the astigmatism. Especially in summer, when the light is strong, you should avoid it, otherwise you will get sunburn

3、 Proper watering

Watering should be dry and wet at ordinary times. If the soil is too wet, it is easy to rot the roots. Spring and autumn should be two or three days a day, summer once a day, but also more watering. In winter, water should be controlled once a week. Generally, when the temperature is high, water more and reduce the low temperature

4、 Scientific fertilization

It likes fertilizer. If it is potted for maintenance, base fertilizer should be applied when it is put into the pot, and topdressing should be applied during growth. Thin fertilizer should be applied more. Usually, it should be applied once in about ten days. Just use cake, fat and water. After budding, apply more phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to promote flowering. Fertilizer should be controlled after autumn to avoid overgrowth, which is easy to cause freezing injury
