How to Make a Plant Pot Man

Clay pots, different sizes (9-10 pots)

Instructions:

Step 1: Paint the pots

Choose a color that you like and paint all the pots. Allow the paint to dry before moving on to the next step. If the paint is not thick enough, apply another coat. You can also use a primer before painting to make the paint last longer.

Step 2: Assemble the pots

Start by attaching two pots base-to-base with hot glue. This will be the body. Then, attach another pot, mouth-to-mouth, to the top of the first two pots, to make the head. Attach a smaller pot inverted on top of the head, making the hat. Attach another pot on each side of the body facing sideways, making the arms, and two on each leg. The legs should be standing on the ground. Tie all the pots together with twine or rope.

Step 3: Add the face and accessories

Now it’s time to add the face and accessories. Paint on the eyes, nose, mouth, and cheeks. You can also attach sunglasses, a hat, a bowtie or a tie, or any accessories you like. Use hot glue to attach them.

Step 4: Add the plants

Once you’ve decorated the pot man, it's time to add some plants. Choose the plants that you like and that will fit the size of the pots. You can use real plants, or fake ones. If you use real plants, make sure they are in a smaller container inside the pot so that you can change them when needed.
