1、 Save time
Fragrant snow orchid will enter the dormancy period after flowering. It is generally in summer. At this time, it needs to be preserved. In the north, it blooms earlier and will wither from March to April. After it rises, it should be preserved until September and then replanted. In the south, the flowering period is from April to may, and then it will wither. After the bulbous roots are raised, they should be preserved and replanted in October p>
2、 How to save
1. Ball raising: it is necessary to raise the ball after the flowering of vanilla and before the leaves wither. Ensure that there are sufficient nutrients in the bulb, which is more conducive to passing the dormancy period. At this time, the watering should not be too much. The water volume should be well controlled, usually once every two days. Phosphorus and potassium fertilizer should be selected for fertilization to provide nutrients for it p>
2. Preservation: wait until the leaves of vanilla wither completely, you can save it. Disinfect and clean the bulb first, and then bury it in wet sand or put it in the fresh-keeping layer of the refrigerator. You can also put it in the basin soil for a month first. Don't water it during this period to prevent flooding from damaging the bulb. After a month, dig it out and store it in an open container. Be careful not to get in the rain or in the sun p>
3. Replanting: keep the bulb until autumn and replant it from September to October. If you keep it in the basin, you need to lift it out first, remove the small ball above, and then plant it separately. Using the loose and fertile sandy soil with good drainage as the matrix, plant the bulbous roots inside, and the top is about 1-2 cm away from the soil surface. After that, pour water and keep the matrix moist. Wait for it to germinate and then maintain it normally p>
