1、 Sowing and propagation

1. Artificial pollination: if you want to get the seeds of air pineapple, you must pollinate it manually. Because it can self pollinate, it can dip the pollen of stamens and sprinkle it above pistils, so as to complete pollination. You must not touch water before and after pollination, otherwise it will affect the success rate. After four months, seed pods will grow

2. Seed picking and sowing: take out the seeds in the seed pod and then sow them immediately. Because it doesn't grow in soil or water, it doesn't need to bother to prepare basin soil, just find stones or dead trees to plant

3. Maintenance and germination: the seeds shall be placed in a humid environment, but there shall be no ponding. The temperature shall be controlled above 20 ℃, and it shall be given appropriate light, but exposure shall be avoided. After 5-6 days, the seed turns green, which means it sprouts

4. Seedling management: air pineapple in seedling stage will grow for a long time. At this time, just ensure the appropriate temperature and sufficient light, and spray some water when it is dry. The temperature is too high in summer, so proper cooling is required. When it is below 10 ℃ in winter, keep warm

2、 Ramet propagation

1. Separate lateral buds: after the air pineapple blooms, it will grow a lot of lateral buds. The lateral bud grows very fast. When the size is appropriate, it can be separated from the mother plant. The separated lateral buds and mother plants should be carefully maintained to ensure their rapid recovery

2. Subsequent maintenance: place the separated lateral buds for one month, spray water once a week, but do not soak in water. When the new roots grow, they can be put on the plate, and then they can be cured normally
