1、 Branch selection

If you want Chimonanthus to take root quickly, you need to choose a healthy branch. Generally, it is necessary to use mother trees that are strong and free of diseases and pests. Cut a 20 cm long branch with bud eyes and leaves on it. Remove the lower leaves and keep only the upper ones. Then cut the bottom into a horseshoe shape, which is more conducive to water absorption

2、 Disinfection treatment

The fear of rooting in water is to infect bacteria, so we must do a good job in disinfection. Dilute carbendazim or potassium permanganate with 1000 times water, and then soak the branches in it. The soaking time should not be too long, generally 20 minutes

3、 Root induction

Soak the upper and lower ends of the branches in rooting water and wrap them with wet cloth. And put it in the environment of 12-16 ℃, do not accept the light. The rooting time is about a week. It's best not to move it during this period

4、 Cuttage Hydroponics

After pouring the prunes into the proper size container, insert the prunes into the water container. The water should not exceed the bottom of the branch, but it should not be too full. It should be one-third of the distance from the bottle mouth. Put the container in a ventilated place, change the water once a day, and take root and sprout in 1-3 weeks
