1、 Can it be grafted
The keel belongs to the succulent plant of Euphorbiaceae, while the crab claw is a plant of cactus family. The two cannot be grafted together. However, the celestial ruler of cactus family has an alias called keel flower, so the grafted rootstock is actually a celestial ruler. This must be made clear, otherwise the grafting will not survive p>
2、 Grafting process
1. Rootstock treatment: select a measuring ruler with strong growth, and the stem should be thicker, which can provide certain support. Cut it short properly and only keep about 20-30cm above the basin soil. Then flatten the top and cut along its edge. Don't cut it to the outside and hurt its epidermis p>
2. Spike cutting treatment: take a full section of crab claw leaves. Use a sterilized knife to remove the skin at the bottom and cut it into a wedge, which can make the fitting place closer p>
3. Grafting: insert the bottom of the crab claw leaf into the incision of the Rootstock to make the wound fully fit. You can string them together with a needle to avoid their separation. However, it should be fried a little to avoid affecting its growth p>
4. Follow up maintenance: after grafting, put it in a cool place without watering to prevent the wound from rotting in water. It can be healed in more than ten days, and then it can be placed in the sunny place to see the light, waiting for it to grow new leaves p>
