1、 Cause

1. Root problems: the mage should first check whether the root of the plant is rotten. The root is damaged and the ability to absorb nutrition is weakened. If it can no longer provide nutrition for the plant, the branches will grow air roots

2. Too little watering: if you water too little, the plant will not be able to draw enough water from the soil, and air roots will grow from the branches. Then the function of these air roots is to absorb water from the air

3. Moist air: when the plant is placed in a high humidity environment for a long time, it will give the plant the illusion of sufficient water in the air, so that the branches and stems grow out of air roots and absorb water

4. Lack of nutrients in the pot soil: if the plants are not changed for a long time or supplemented with nutrients, the lack of nutrients will stimulate the mage to grow air roots from the branches and then absorb the nutrients in the air

2、 Treatment method

1. Caused by problems at the root. You can deal with the root problem without dealing with the air root first. Dig out the plant from the soil, remove the rotten part of the root, apply carbendazim powder on the wound, and then change the soil for replanting

2. Caused by too little watering. Cut off the air roots and replenish water to the plants in time to keep the soil moist

3. Caused by excessive air humidity. Remove the air root first, and then move the plant to a relatively dry and ventilated environment to ensure ventilation and reduce the growth of air root

4. Caused by lack of nutrients. If the pot soil has not been changed for a long time, it is necessary to replace the pot soil for the plant immediately and use nutritious soil to meet the growth needs of the plant. If the plant is not fertilized for a long time, it needs to supplement fertilizer in time. In daily maintenance, a small amount of organic fertilizer or ternary slow-release fertilizer can be applied to the plant every two months or so
