1、 Cutting time

The cutting time of Milan flower should be determined according to the selection of branches. If the old branches of the previous year are selected for cutting, the time can be from April to may in spring. If the new branches of the current year are selected, the time can be from June to August of the current year. The climate in these two periods is very mild and suitable, which is conducive to cutting survival and rooting

2、 Cut branches

Although two kinds of branches can be selected for cutting, it is better to choose new branches for cutting, and the survival rate is higher. Select well grown plants and cut strong branches from above. Keep two or three leaves at the upper end of each branch and remove the leaves below. Apply a little plant ash on the incision and dry it in a cool place

3、 Prepare soil

In order to promote the success of cutting, the soil needs to be suitable. Peat soil and river sand can be mixed as the soil for cutting. Other preparation methods can also be selected. As long as the soil can be breathable, soft, fertile and acidic, it can be disinfected after preparation

4、 Cutting

Cut in the treated branches. After cutting, put the plants in a cool place for maintenance, pour water into them for a time, cover them with plastic film for moisture retention, control the temperature at about 25 ℃, spray water appropriately to maintain humidity and promote the rooting of branches
