1、 How to water Desert Roses
Desert roses are particularly drought resistant and are afraid of ponding. It is best to wait until the soil is nearly dry before watering. Watering should be done thoroughly in spring, summer and autumn until water flows out from the bottom of the basin. If the temperature is low in winter, slide some water along the edge of the basin and don't do it thoroughly p>
1. Pot method: first of all, we can judge whether desert roses are short of water by pot method. Usually weigh the weight of the basin soil and feel that it is obviously lighter, which means that the plant is short of water and can be watered p>
2. Basin knocking method: if you are a desert rose planted in a pottery basin or tile basin, you can knock the basin wall with your finger joints. If it makes a crisp sound, it means that the plant is short of water and can be watered p>
3. Touch soil method: you can also touch 3cm under the soil with your hand. If you feel dry, it means that the plant is short of water and can be watered p>
4. Bamboo stick method: if you dislike touching the soil is too dirty, you can insert a bamboo stick along the edge of the basin and pull it out. If the bottom of the bamboo stick is dry, it means that the plant is short of water and can be watered p>
2、 What if the desert roses are watered too much
If desert roses are watered too much, stop watering immediately, pad up the flowerpot, empty the permeable hole at the bottom of the basin, and put the plants in a cool and ventilated place to evaporate the water in the soil as soon as possible. If the water logging is serious, take the plant with the soil lump out of the basin and put it in a cool and ventilated place to let the water in the soil lump evaporate quickly p>
