First cut the section of the rootstock with a knife, and then split the rootstock vertically with a splitting knife, with a depth of 4cm ~ 5cm, equal to or slightly longer than the scion surface

During scion, cut both sides of the lower bud into a smooth surface, and the outer side of the scion is slightly thicker than the inner side. Each scion retains 2 ~ 4 segments

Insert the scion. When inserting, align the scion with the rootstock cambium. One can insert 1 ~ 2 scions directly, or 3 ~ 4 if the rootstock is thick

After grafting, tie the grafting place with plastic bags until the interface between scion and rootstock is tight

The grafted pomegranate can also blossom and bear fruit
