Strip propagation

During the high-temperature and humid season from May to July, circular cutting shall be carried out at the stem of the mountain sea belt, with a ring mouth 2 cm wide and deep to the xylem. Wipe off the spilled juice of the incision with a clean wet cloth, and smear the upper cortex of the incision with 5000-1000ppm naphthylacetic acid aqueous solution

Then tie the white plastic film at the lower end of the incision to form a funnel. Install moss and mountain soil on the bottom, pour water through, tie the upper end of the film tightly and place it outdoors

Pay attention to check whether the soil matrix is dry and replenish water at any time

Cutting propagation

During the growth period, 15 cm long new branches with stem bark can be taken, and plain sand, vermiculite and peat soil can be used as matrix cutting. After cutting, put it in a cool place to keep warm and moisturize. After taking root for a month, change it into a tile basin

Indoor breeding should be placed in a bright and ventilated place to avoid direct sunlight in summer, and sufficient sunshine should be guaranteed in other world. It should also be watered timely and moderately to maintain a humid environment

Water cutting propagation

Take about 10cm long and strong wooden stem segments, inject clean water into the bottle, and soak half of the stem segments into water. Try to keep the water temperature at 25 ℃ and sufficient light. After about 1 week, green leaf buds can be seen in the stem segment, and white fibrous roots can be produced underwater

Continue to water, you can gradually grow into fresh, lively and vibrant new plants

After two years of water culture, the plant may slow down and can be moved into the basin soil to restore its normal growth
