Preparation before sowing

Seed treatment

If the seeds of Acacia are not treated, the germination rate is very low, so they need to be treated before sowing

One is soaking seeds in hot water. Soak the seeds in hot water at 70 ℃ and cool them naturally until the next day. Take out the dewaxed and expanded seeds, dry them in the shade and put them in a greenhouse at 25 ℃ - 30 ℃ to promote germination. After whitening, they can be sown

The other is to scald the seeds with boiling water. Wrap the seeds with gauze. Do not need to wrap them too tightly. Put them into boiling water for 15-60 seconds, then take them out, put them into warm water immediately, rub them with your hands for 15-20 minutes, soak the seeds until the next day, dry them in the shade and promote germination, and then they can be sown

Specific method of sowing

The seeds can be sown in autumn or spring and summer of the following year, and the method of on-demand sowing can be adopted

After sowing, the soil shall be covered by 0.5cm, and 2 or 3 layers of shading net shall be covered close to the ground to prevent rainwater scouring and soil hardening. If sowing in spring, it can also have the effect of heat preservation

Post sowing management

After emergence, remove the covering, pull out the weeds, spray some fungicides, and water in time according to the soil conditions
