Dahlia cutting time
Cutting time can be from early spring to summer and autumn. Of course, if you want to ensure a high survival rate, it's best to cut in March and April. Pay attention to the temperature from November to December. It is best to keep it between 15 ℃ - 25 ℃ to prevent it from falling into dormancy or dry leaves p>
Dahlia cutting method
Take the growing twig at the top, about 8 cm, and cut the lower part neatly 1 cm below the node. Be careful not to split it. Cut off the lower two leaves and insert them into the prepared peat soil or clean sand. The diameter of the selected basin should preferably not be less than 25 cm, and then drench with water to cover half the shade. You can set up a support and use a double-layer shade net to cover the half shade. Watering should be carried out every day. In sunny days, it's best to do it once in the morning and once in the evening to keep the soil moist and prevent the plant from withering. It can take root in 2 or 3 weeks, and the survival rate is still quite high p>
Dahlia cutting management
After the cuttings survive, fertilization can be carried out. A compound fertilizer saturated leaching solution can be applied in combination with middle tillage and weeding, before and after flowering, and each backside sprayer is added with 400 ml of mother liquid to root topdressing. When Dahlia takes root, it is not suitable for deep cultivation, which is conducive to prevent grass damage, otherwise it may hurt the root. In order to avoid the breaking of soft stems and leaves, it's best to set up a support. When the height of the flower seedling is 15 cm, top it. Remember to remove it in time after the flower withers, so as to prolong the flowering period. Or when the plant grows to 30 cm, insert small bamboos next to the note and bind them with thin lines. As the plant grows higher, the small bamboos should also be replaced and longer ones should be selected. Finally, when the flower buds appear, the small bamboos should top at the lower part p>
Dahlia is cutting like this. In fact, it's not difficult. I hope everyone can learn it p>
