Breeding area

Shrimp ridge orchid is generally used as a perennial flower in autumn. This cultivation method is best suitable in the south of the Yangtze River

Material selection

The selection area, of course, is to select the tubers that are born in the current year and have tender buds. Cut the selected tubers into small pieces, each with 1 ~ 2 buds

Preparatory work

In the prepared loose and fertile soil, dig holes 10 ~ 13cm deep according to the row spacing of 33cm and the plant spacing of 23 ~ 25cm. Dig as many holes as you want. Then flatten the bottom of the hole and plant 3 seed stems in each hole

Cultivation points

When planting, stagger the bud mouth in a triangle and lay it flat at the bottom of the hole

Post planting care

After planting, it shall be covered with fine fertile soil or creosote ash, watered with diluted human and animal manure water once, covered with soil, and leveled with the border surface

Spring reproduction

Applicable area

It is used in potted plants and areas where the temperature is relatively low and it is impossible to overwinter in the open field. For example, in northern China, it is more suitable for breeding at this time

In May every year, and after the flowering of shrimp ridge orchid, take the pseudobulb out of the pot
