Cutting propagation
Select 1-2-year-old branches and stems, cut them about 20-30 cm away from the surface of the basin soil, and cut them into 3-4 stem segments for cuttings. One leaf shall be reserved on each cuttings, and about 2 / 3-3 / 4 of the leaves shall be cut to reduce water evaporation p>
First of all, the cut of cuttings should be immersed in water or lightly stained with plant ash to avoid outflow of tree sap. Then prepare the transplanting bed cultivated with river sand or perlite and insert the cuttings into it. Pay attention to maintaining appropriate temperature and high air humidity around. Generally, it can take root in about a month at the temperature of 25-30 ℃. After the plant is cut, because its apical advantage is destroyed, the new shoots germinate from the dormant buds on the stem nodes, and can form a forked tree shape. Cutting and cutting can be carried out after the new shoots are aged p>
Strip propagation
Select the semi lignified branches with strong growth at the lower part of the plant, gently bend them down and bury them in the soil. Pay attention to avoid the separation of the branches from the mother plant or damage and break them. The branches need to be exposed to the soil surface and tied with small bamboo rods, which is conducive to their upright growth. Before layering, the stem segments buried in the soil need to be peeled in a ring, with a peeling width of about 1cm. It is better to use auxiliary materials to fix the part where the surface branches are buried in the soil to prevent the branches from springing up. After the layering work is completed, remember to keep the soil moist and well ventilated. After about 3-4 weeks, it can take root. At this time, it can be cut away from the mother plant and then planted separately p>
