Cutting time
It can be carried out from April to July, and the cutting survival rate of cherry blossom is the highest at its full flowering stage p>
Selection and treatment of cuttings
Cut strong branches, about 15 cm long, with current year shoots at the upper end and annual branches at the lower end. In Japan, the lower leaves should be removed before cutting, and only the upper leaves should be retained. Then put 2 or 3 cm of the base of the cuttings into 1000 ppm NAA solution, and cut immediately after dipping at 2-3 cm of the base p>
Cutting method
Use bricks to build a seedbed with a height of 20cm and a width of 1m. The bottom layer of the seedbed is paved with 2 or 3cm river sand, and then filled with 15cm thick vermiculite. 1 centrifugal sprinklers are installed at 1 meters, and spray can be connected to the tap water pipe by spray nozzle. In the first ten days of May, it is necessary to build a sunshade, and use branches as fences around it to keep out the wind. It is also possible to set up a plastic shed cover on the seedbed. The cuttings are vertically inserted into vermiculite in rows, with a plant spacing of 2 cm and a row spacing of 4 cm. The appropriate cutting depth is between 6-8 cm. After cutting, it needs to be irrigated with water p>
Post insertion management
is often sprayed on the leaves, especially when the temperature is high. The relative humidity of the air needs to be maintained at more than 90%, while the humidity of vermiculite should be maintained at about 60%. This index must be reached before rooting, especially before the formation of healing tissue p>
In the first ten days of May, shading shed shall be set to prevent exposure. When the temperature in the plastic shed is higher than 35 ℃, open both ends of the shed for ventilation, and seal it after the temperature drops to 27 ℃. If the weather is hot, spray water outside the plastic shed to cool down and avoid excessive water content of vermiculite caused by excessive spraying< span>
