Rose pruning
There are three main time points for pruning Rose:
1. Pruning before flowering in spring: cut off too many side buds and flower buds p>
2. Post flower pruning: cut off residual flowers and sick branches
3. Cut the branches again before winter or spring
Now Huahua will give you a detailed introduction to these four pruning methods p>

Spring pruning
Spring is the period when axillary buds and flower buds form. When axillary buds begin to grow, don't leave too many buds. Just keep two or three buds on each branch. The buds that grow downward or inward choose to be cut off p>

When the new bud grows to two or three centimeters, choose the one with the best growth to stay. Two more thick branches can be retained, and the other buds can be cut off to ensure that the plant has enough nutrients to supply the branches and promote flower bud differentiation p>

When the flower buds differentiate, the branches still grow many flower buds, and each flower bud is a flower bud. At this time, you can only keep one flower bud at the top of the branch and remove all the remaining flower buds, so that the nutrients are concentrated in the flower bud at the top of the branch, which can make the flowers bloom big and colorful p>

After reasonable pruning, your rose must open better than others in spring p>
Post flower pruning
After the rose withers, it can be cut from four or five leaves at the lower part of the flower branches. The cut position ensures that the left buds grow outward p>

When the branches grow too tightly, which is not conducive to photosynthesis, we can also pull the branches:
Tie the rope to branch 123 as shown in the figure below, and then carefully pull it down until the branch is on the same level as the position D marked by us p>

The results show that (in this way, the branches are relatively developed, which is conducive to the absorption of light and can bloom again soon) p>

Re cut branches
In winter, the rose enters a dormant state. At this time, the rose can be re cut. This pruning time can be put in winter p>
When pruning, all branches without lignification on the plant can be cut off. The leaves on the remaining branches should also be removed p>

Jasmine pruning
Jasmine pruning is mainly concentrated in two time periods: one is pruning during the growth period and the other is pruning during the dormancy period. As long as you do these two points well, your jasmine flowers will be full of branches p>
Dormancy pruning
Every spring, before Jasmine starts to germinate, cut off the pest branches, thin branches, bare branches and overlapping branches on the branches. Don't be soft. With the increase of temperature, new branches will germinate soon p>
The branches born in that year can be kept only five to ten centimeters, and all the others can be cut off p>

Pruning during growth
1. Flowering pruning:
After Jasmine blooms, cut off the residual flowers in time. When cutting the residual flowers, you can cut them off under the branches where the flowers are located, and keep three or five sections on the branches, which can promote the germination of lateral branches and the differentiation of more flower buds p>

2. Pruning during growth:
In the process of jasmine growth, you can cut off the bare branches at any time. The branches of diseases and pests should also be cleaned in time to avoid infection. When the branches are too dense, you should trim the sparse branches in time p>
