Clivia
Reasons for changing basin:
Autumn is the season for changing the pots of Clivia, mainly to replace the nutrient soil. In addition, if the Clivia grows very large, it can also be replaced with larger pots p>
Steps for changing basin:
1. Before changing pots, water should be cut off for about one week to separate the soil from the flowerpot p>
2. Hold the bulb part of Clivia with one hand, turn the flowerpot over with the other hand and knock it out gently p>
3. Gently pat the soil mass with your hand, pat down some loose soil, and then rinse the roots of Clivia with water p>
4. Observe the root system, remove the old root, withered root, blackened root and so on. Anyway, if it is not normal, all the root systems will be removed p>
5. Soak the root of Clivia in carbendazim solution for disinfection, and then take it out and dry it in a cool place p>
6. Prepare nutrient soil. Generally, the soil of Clivia in autumn can be mixed with 5 parts of pastoral soil, 3 parts of rotten leaf soil and 2 parts of river sand. At the same time, let some melon seeds and slow-release fertilizer into the bottom of the flowerpot as base fertilizer p>
7. Hold the Clivia in the middle of the flowerpot and fill it ~
8. Pour water through it and put it in a cool and ventilated place to slow down the root for 1 ~ 2 days, and then you can go to the sun p>
Chlorophytum
Reason for changing basin:
The root system of Chlorophytum grows too fast and the flower pot is too small, which will affect the normal growth of Chlorophytum. After a peak growth season, the nutrients in the soil have been exhausted and need to be replaced with new pot soil p>
Basin changing steps:
1. Lift the flowerpot by hand and knock it gently on the ground to separate the soil from the flowerpot p>
2. Take off the basin of Chlorophytum, gently beat the soil at the root several times, so that the soil at the root mountain can be scattered, and finally rinse the root with clean water. By the way, trim all the withered and blackened roots p>
3. Prepare new soil, preferably nutritious humus soil ~ and a flower pot larger than before p>
4. Bury some rotten bean cakes at the bottom of the flower pot, and then put the Chlorophytum back into the pot. Be careful not to let the root system of the Chlorophytum touch the fertilizer at the bottom
Fleshy
Reason for changing basin:
Hot and humid weather in summer can easily lead to black rot and rotten roots of meat. Once this happens, it is easy to pollute the soil. In addition, there are many mosquitoes in summer, and some insects will lay eggs in the soil. Therefore, the basin change in autumn is mainly to renew the soil p>
Basin changing steps:
1. Remove the meat from the pot and clean the roots ~ cut off the weak roots because they will grow roots again ~
2. Prepare nutrient soil and prepare it according to the proportion of peat soil 60% + sand 20% + particle 20%. You can use insect proof net at the bottom of the flowerpot, or weigh some small stones, pottery grains and so on p>
3. Put the meat in the middle of the flowerpot and fill it slowly ~
4. Place it in a cool place with ventilation and then place it in a cool place for curing
Asparagus
Reason for changing basin:
After a growing season, the flowerpot of asparagus originally cultivated will be a little small. At this time, we can consider replacing asparagus with a larger flowerpot p>
Basin changing steps:
1. Turn the bottom of the flowerpot upside down and take it off p>
2. Check the root system of asparagus. The root system of Asparagus in the figure below is very good, and some very thin roots are not blackened p>
3. Prepare nutritious soil, ceramsite and small stones ~
4. Weigh 4.5cm ceramsite at the bottom of the flowerpot. If there is no ceramsite, weigh small stones p>
5. Configure soil and mix nutrient soil, perlite and coarse sand in the ratio of 3:1:1. Because asparagus doesn't like big fertilizer, there is no need to put base fertilizer at the bottom p>
6. It's best not to put asparagus on the pot with bare roots, so take some original soil and put it into the pot. While putting soil into the pot, tap the pot gently so that the soil inside won't leave a gap p>
7. Pour water through and put it in a cool place to slow the root for 1 ~ 2 days~
