1. Planting time
Cuiju is mainly planted by sowing seeds. The flowering period of cuiju lasts for a long time. From early summer to late autumn, its planting time should be selected in its non flowering period, from November to April of the next year, but if it is in the drier areas in the north, it is better to plant it in early spring, March and April p>
2. Planting method
Sow
Prepare the container and nutrient soil for sowing seeds in advance. The container can be a generally large plastic planter. The nutrient soil can add pastoral soil, sediment and bean residue fermentation by itself. First, pour nutrient soil into the basin, which is two or three minutes away from the upper edge of the basin; Then take about thirty or fifty seeds and sow them into the basin, and then cover the seeds with a thin layer of nutrient soil, subject to the absence of seeds p>
Sprout
Next, spray water into the basin with a small mist watering pot. Sprinkle the soil thoroughly so that the seeds can fully contact with the nutrient soil to prepare for subsequent germination p>
Light and water control
Finally, put the flowerpot in a well ventilated and bright place indoors, but it must be shielded from direct sunlight. Pay close attention to the soil condition of the flowerpot before the seeds sprout. When the nutrient soil is found to be dry and cracked, immediately spray water into the basin five or six times with a fine mist watering pot p>
Transplanting
After the seedlings sprout, they can be transplanted 30 days later. Move the seedlings from large plastic pots to small flower pots, with four to five plants in each pot. Today's seedlings can be called cuiju seedlings. Pay attention to watering and fertilization, and cuiju seedlings will grow up slowly and healthily p>
Temperature
Cuiju is widely distributed in Northeast coastal cities in China, but rarely in Yunnan and Sichuan in the south. It likes mild sunshine and moist soil, but it is not resistant to flood and cold; The spring and autumn season with the temperature of about 14 ℃ to 16 ℃ is the best for sowing. When the temperature is controlled at 18 ~ 21 ℃, the seeds can germinate after about one to three weeks. When the temperature is lower than 5 ℃, the seedlings should be kept warm. With the gradual increase of temperature, the seedlings gradually grow and grow strong p>
