1、 Fertilization time
For fruit farmers, the two best time periods for fertilization are the middle and late September and the first ten days of October to the first ten days of November. Fertilization in these two time periods is very conducive to the growth of fruit trees. If fertilizer is not applied at the best time for various reasons, it is recommended to apply fertilizer in time after the soil thaws in the spring of the next year p>
2、 Fertilization method
When fertilizing fruit trees in winter, the first method is to dig 4 to 6 radial ditches on the ground under the fruit trees, with the trunk as the axis, at a place about 80 cm away from the middle trunk, and the outer ditches should be deeper and wider than the inner ones. The second method is to dig a strip-shaped ditch under the ground at the outer edge of the tree crown. Try to make the ditch 20 to 40 cm deep, 80 cm long and 40 cm wide, avoiding the thick roots of the tree. After applying fertilizer to fruit trees, you can't cover the fertilizer with soil immediately. Use agricultural tools to fully stir the fertilizer and soil, and then cover it. Don't forget to pour an appropriate amount of water p>
3、 Special precautions
1) When the plant soil is dry, try not to apply ammonium bicarbonate as fertilizer. Due to the unstable chemical properties of ammonium bicarbonate, it is easy to volatilize. Therefore, when using ammonium bicarbonate as fertilizer, it is necessary to ensure that the soil is wet. After application, it is immediately covered with soil to reduce volatilization p>
2) Ammonium sulfate cannot be reused as fertilizer. Especially in orchards where the soil is acidic or slightly alkaline, many soils are due to improper reuse of ammonium sulfate as fertilizer, resulting in soil plate. In this case, fruit trees will grow slowly, which is because it affects the transportation of fruit roots and hinders the development of roots p>
3) Do not water the fruit trees immediately after using urea as fertilizer. Because of the chemical nature of urea in water, a large amount of nitrogen will be lost, and the ammonium carbonate transformed from nitrogen is easy to be absorbed by fruit trees. In this way, the nutrient absorption rate of fertilizer will be reduced. Therefore, after fertilization, water the fruit trees in a few days p>
