1、 When will Clivia change pots
It's best to change the pots of Clivia in spring and autumn every year. The pot soil needs to be changed 1-2 times a year. Otherwise, the fleshy roots of Clivia grow fast and the nutrients in the soil can be consumed in half a year. If you don't change the pots and soil often, it will affect the growth of Clivia in the next year p>
2、 How to change the basin of Clivia
1. Before changing the basin of Clivia, properly control the water. When the soil is slightly dry, remove the Clivia from the original flower pot, remove the soil attached to the root system, cut off the rotten and shriveled root system, apply carbendazim powder on the incision, and put the Clivia in a cool and ventilated place to dry its roots p>
2. Prepare loose and breathable soil, which can be prepared with rotten leaf soil, pine needle soil, coarse sand and charcoal. Select a breathable flowerpot of appropriate size to put into the root system of Clivia, so that the root system is about 3cm away from the basin wall, and pad tiles and ceramsites on the basin bottom p>
3. Put 5-7cm soil above the ceramsite, and the soil humidity should be "hold it in a ball and disperse it when touched". Then hold the root system of Clivia with your hand, buckle it upside down, fill the soil between the root systems of Clivia, hold the root system of the plant, and slowly put it into the center of the flower pot p>
4. Finally, fill the gap between the root system and the flower pot with soil, gently compact the soil, then fill the root system with soil, cover the root system for 5-7cm, gently compact the soil, move the potted plant to a cool and ventilated place, and when the soil is nearly dry and watered, it can be maintained normally after a week p>
