1、 Check the plant

After you buy a new cactus, you need to carefully uncover the wrapping paper first. Check whether there is a wound at the bottom of the plant. If there is a cut at the root, it needs to be placed in an airy place to dry for a few days, and then plant it when the wound becomes dry. In addition, decayed or withered roots should be cut off. If possible, it is best to disinfect them to avoid infection

2、 Prepare basin soil

Prepare flower pots of appropriate size, with drainage holes at the bottom, and fill them with some clean and breathable soil. The flowerpot used should not be too small, which will hinder the growth of its roots. The soil should not be too sticky, which will make the plant roots unable to breathe

3、 Planting

Dig a hole in the soil in the flower pot, then place the purchased cactus in the pot soil, and then bury it with soil. The position of the root must be buried with soil, and the surrounding soil should be compacted

4、 Planting and maintenance

After planting, it should be placed in the semi shade first, and should not be directly exposed to the sun. It can be seen only after it is restored. If the soil is too dry, you can pour some water on it properly, but don't pour water on the cactus, it will rot
