1、 Seed collection
1. Most Geranium plants bear seeds, and a few can't, so it's convenient to pick seeds. The growth of this plant is very random, there are many varieties, and it is easy to change. It is said that seeds can grow wherever they bounce, but they can be controlled in variety and form by picking and sowing themselves, which is not as messy as wild ones p>
2. When the seed pod begins to mature, it will slowly change color, and then some of the seeds will begin to bounce outward. At this time, they can be collected in paper bags and saved for sowing. You can also buy seeds yourself p>
2、 Sowing method
1. Prepare a seedling tray and fill it with substrate. Geranium has no special requirements for soil quality, but it can't be too sticky and heavy. Air permeability and softness should be basically guaranteed. If the soil quality cannot be reached, some sandy soil can be added, or peat and vermiculite can be mixed with perlite and stirred evenly as the matrix p>
2. Scatter the collected seeds on the soil. If there is an interval, the seeds can be sown according to the grid. If there is no interval, the seeds should be sown according to the appropriate distance, not too dense. There is no need to press. After the on-demand broadcasting is completed, it is covered with a layer of coarse sand p>
3. Put it directly in the greenhouse or directly in the open air. As long as the temperature is not very low, there is no big problem. There will be differences in different climatic conditions. It will germinate one after another in about a week. Of course, some will germinate earlier p>
3、 Later maintenance
1. This kind of plant has strong resistance to damp and heat. After all, it is a flower that can grow in roadside grass ditches, mostly in wet places. More water can be supplied, but not too much. Long-term ponding in the root is also not conducive to plant growth. You can move outside and bask in the sun p>
