1. Preparation of planting soil
The planting soil of blue stone lotus should have two key points: the first is to have large fertility and the second is to have good drainage p>
It likes to be fat. Only the planting soil with sufficient fertility can meet its growth and development needs and support it to produce beautiful flowers with bright colors p>
It is afraid of waterlogging. Once there is ponding in the soil, it is easy to cause its rhizomes to rot, so it must not choose planting soil with poor drainage capacity p>
To sum up, Xiaobian recommends two planting soils:
The first is peat, vermiculite and perlite, and add an appropriate amount of bone powder p>
The second is a mixture of 3 parts of rotten leaf soil, 3 parts of river sand, 1 part of garden soil and 1 part of slag p>
2. Planting environment
In order to provide a good germination condition for its seeds, in addition to the well prepared planting soil, a little effort should be made in some other aspects p>
The first is the planting temperature. Planting at about 25 ℃ can effectively increase its budding rate p>
The second is planting soil disinfection. Before sowing, frying in an iron pot or microwave heating the planting soil can kill most pathogens p>
In addition, the seeds can be soaked with water at about 35 ℃ and can be used for planting after seeing the swelling of the seeds p>
3. Planting method
First, take some prepared planting soil into the flowerpot, fill 90% of the volume of the flowerpot, and straighten the soil surface p>
Then put the bottom of the flowerpot into clean water to make the water penetrate into the planting soil through the drainage hole at the bottom p>
Because its seed volume is relatively small, it is not suitable to use the on-demand method, but the sowing method. The specific incoming water is to mix the seeds with a small amount of fine sand, pour them in the middle of a folded white paper, and then sprinkle them evenly on the soil surface p>
Then seal the flowerpot with plastic wrap to keep the humidity in the pot. Don't forget to leave a few small holes on the plastic wrap for the seeds to breathe p>
Finally, put it indoors and avoid direct sunlight p>
After a few days, when the germination rate of seeds is higher than 50%, the preservative film can be removed p>
