Preparation of soil
If you want to raise flowers well, you should prepare suitable planting soil for them and give them a comfortable "home" p>
Tang Yin prefers loose planting soil, which also requires a certain drainage capacity. Such planting soil can provide enough air for its roots and will not rot its roots due to ponding p>
Xiaobian has prepared the following two schemes for you:
Ordinary: 65% peat soil + 35% coarse sand or other hard medium
High quality: 25% coconut bran + 35% peat + 30% granular soil + 10% vermiculite
You can deploy according to your specific situation p>
Seed sowing
Compared with other flowers, Tang Yin's germination speed is relatively slow, and the seeds are very small. Once they are buried, they may not be found. Therefore, when sowing, it can be sown in a shallow plate instead of in a flowerpot, which is convenient for care p>
First prepare a shallow dish, spray a little fungicide, and then cover it with a layer of wet planting soil. Gently sprinkle the seed on it, and pay attention to handle it gently to avoid mechanical damage p>
Then cover the seeds with a thin layer of fine sand, with a thickness of no more than 1cm p>
Then cover the shallow plate with plastic film or glass to maintain the humidity in the plate p>
Put the shallow dishes in a room without direct sunlight. After about 15 ~ 30 days, they will germinate p>
Bud transplanting
When the buds break through the soil from the shallow plate, they can be transplanted p>
For transplanting, you can choose a flower pot with relatively small volume and put the planting soil into the pot. It can't be filled too full. It can be filled to about 90% of the container volume p>
Dig a small hole in the center of the flowerpot. It doesn't need to be too deep. It's about the same depth as the planting soil of the shallow plate p>
Take out the bud together with the surrounding planting soil and plant it into the hole of the flower pot. This step must pay attention not to damage the root of the bud. Otherwise, the buds will not grow healthily p>
Firmly press the planting soil brought by the buds with the planting soil in the flowerpot to ensure that the roots can continue to grow into the planting soil. Be careful not to press too tightly in this step, otherwise the root of the plant may not be able to breathe p>
Finally, you need to water again. This time, it must be watered thoroughly to facilitate the continued growth of young buds p>
