Selection of soil
In order to raise a beautiful Tang fan, we need to prepare a substrate that can meet its growth needs p>
The choice of substrate depends on the fertility of the substrate. If the substrate is too poor to provide enough nutrients for plant growth and development, such substrate cannot be used for planting p>
Secondly, the choice of matrix depends on its air permeability. The substrate with insufficient air permeability cannot provide enough air to support the respiration of seed roots, so it will be difficult for plants to germinate or grow p>
Finally, the choice of substrate depends on its drainage capacity. Ponding will appear in the substrate without sufficient drainage capacity, which will not only affect seed germination, but also easily cause plant root ulceration p>
To sum up, we'd better choose a substrate with large fertility, smooth ventilation and strong drainage as the planting substrate of Tang fan p>
Sowing method
First, you need to choose a smaller flowerpot. This is because Tangfan plants are relatively small and do not need to be planted in too large flowerpots. A vent is required at the bottom of the flowerpot. If you don't have a suitable flowerpot, you can also choose a small plastic box. Use a small scissors or knife to open 3 ~ 4 small holes at the bottom p>
After that, put the prepared planting soil into the flowerpot, and then half immerse the flowerpot in water to make the planting soil absorb water through the vent hole at the bottom p>
Then remove the flowerpot from the water, wipe the water on its outer wall, and put it aside to dry until no water drops from the vent hole after lifting the flowerpot p>
Then spread the seeds evenly on the soil surface. Its seeds are very small. You can use a wet toothpick or a small wet needle to stick the seeds together and apply them to the soil surface p>
After that, the soil can not be covered. If you want to cover the soil, you only need to cover a thin layer, and you must not cover it too thick. Because its small seeds do not have enough germination power to support the normal germination of seeds p>
Finally, you need to put the whole flowerpot in a room that doesn't need direct sunlight, adjust the room temperature to about 20 ℃, and you can see its seedlings grow after a week p>
