Treatment of seeds
The seeds of happiness tree are usually collected at the end of December when the seeds are fully mature. Pick its long strip-shaped fruit from the tree, dry it and take out the seeds. Then gently rub the film covered on the seed surface with your hand for storage p>
There are two storage methods suitable for preserving its seeds: dry storage and wet storage p>
The dry storage method is to dry the seed to reduce the moisture inside the seed, and then store it in a low-temperature and dry environment. The seeds stored in dry storage are generally taken out around March to April, soaked in tap water for 3 to 4 hours, and then taken out to dry, which can be used for planting p>
Wet storage method is to mix the seeds with wet sand after soaking in water for 2 ~ 3 hours, put them in a warm environment, pay attention to it from time to time to ensure that it will not mildew, and water it frequently to keep it moist. Wait until the seed germinates, and then plant it under warm conditions p>
Selection of soil
Choosing a good planting soil can often get twice the result with half the effort, and the best planting soil is never the most expensive planting soil, but the most suitable planting soil for seeds p>
For planting happiness trees, it is best to choose the planting soil with high fertility, sufficient rot, good ventilation and no ponding p>
Fertile soil can provide sufficient nutrition for young plants to grow and develop p>
The sapropelic soil can not only provide some nitrogen, phosphorus and other elements, but also maintain the moisture of sandy soil and provide a good growth environment for plants p>
The planting soil with good air permeability can facilitate the breathing of seeds and the germination of seeds p>
The cultivation soil without ponding can ensure that there is no ponding in the soil and will not let the plant rot p>
Sowing method
Before sowing, you need to prepare a flowerpot with a diameter of 12cm ~ 24cm p>
Put the treated planting soil into the flowerpot and leave some soil for standby. At this time, it should be noted that the flowerpots cannot be fully filled, and some height should be reserved for watering p>
Gently place the seed on the soil surface, and then cover the seed with the soil just left, with a thickness of about 2cm p>
Finally, soak the basin soil with water to give the seeds a darker environment. It doesn't take long for the seeds to germinate p>
